Are pets allowed at Buckeye Ranch RV Resort?

Yes. Buckeye Ranch RV Resort welcomes dogs in RV sites and select pet-friendly cabins. Guests are expected to follow the resort’s pet rules, keep pets under control, clean up after them, and be respectful of nearby guests.
Buckeye Ranch’s current public pet guidance does not list breed restrictions, but behavior matters. Pets that are noisy, aggressive, disruptive, or not safely controlled are not a fit for the resort. Guests should always review current booking terms before arrival.

Yes. K9 Corner sites are full-hookup RV sites with 30/50-amp service, water, sewer, electric, and resort Wi‑Fi.
K9 Corner Pull Thru sites should be described as up to 65 ft. Do not use 75-foot language on this page or anywhere else on the site.
Yes. You can request K9 Corner or note that you would like to be close to the dog park. Site requests are helpful, but final placement depends on availability, site type, dates, and resort operations.
No. K9 Corner is a great option for dog owners who want to be near the fenced dog park, but it is not the only pet-friendly RV option. Guests may choose from available RV site types based on their rig, preferences, and dates.
Please do not list specific welcome-bag items unless ownership confirms them. The safest guest-facing language is: “Ask about any current K9 welcome perks when you check in.”

Dog Park & Leash Rules

Is the dog park fenced?

Yes. Buckeye Ranch has a fenced dog park where dogs can play off leash while supervised.
No. Dogs may be off leash only inside the fenced dog park. Everywhere else, pets should be leashed and under control.
Pets must be on a leash 6 feet or shorter when outside your RV, cabin, or the fenced dog park.
No. Pets should not be tethered to RVs, cabins, vehicles, trees, posts, fences, or common-area structures.
A small temporary enclosure may be allowed if it follows resort rules, stays within your site area, and your pet is attended. Do not leave pets outside unattended.
Yes. Please supervise your dog while using the fenced dog park. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times.

Pet Limits, Fees & Reservations

Is there a limit on the number of pets?

Yes. Buckeye Ranch allows a maximum of 3 pets per reservation.

Yes. Please list your pet on the reservation. This is especially important for cabin stays because only select cabins are pet-friendly.

What are the most important pet rules?

Keep your pet leashed outside the dog park, clean up waste immediately, supervise your pet, prevent excessive barking, and keep pets out of resort buildings unless allowed by ADA service-animal rules.
Use the pet waste stations and proper waste receptacles located throughout the resort.
Pets are not allowed inside resort buildings except as allowed by ADA service-animal rules.
Pets should not be brought into the pool area. Guests should follow all posted pool and hot tub rules onsite.
Please help keep the resort peaceful. Guests are responsible for preventing excessive barking or disruptive pet noise at any time, especially during quiet hours.

What should I know about bringing a dog to the Arizona desert?

Arizona heat, sun, gravel, and wildlife can affect pets quickly. Bring extra water, check your dog’s paws, avoid hot surfaces, use shade, and keep your dog leashed outside the fenced dog park.
Yes. Bring water for your dog and offer it often, especially during warm weather.
Yes. Desert surfaces can get very hot. Check pavement, gravel, and turf before walking your dog, and consider paw protection during hotter months.
No. Please keep pets away from wildlife, desert plants, and unfamiliar animals.
