  • Winter (December – February):

    • Weather: Pleasant, sunny days (65°F – 75°F) and crisp, cold nights that can dip into the 30s.

    • Packing Tip: Bring warm layers and a medium jacket for evenings spent by the fire or stargazing.

  • Spring (March – May):

    • Weather: Perfect hiking temperatures (75°F – 85°F) and blooming desert flora.

    • Packing Tip: Lightweight clothing for the day and extra sunscreen as the UV index rises.

  • Summer (June – August):

    • Weather: Intense, dry heat (100°F – 110°F+) with warm, breezy nights and occasional “Monsoon” storms in late July.

    • Packing Tip: Breathable fabrics and high-capacity water bottles. Plan all outdoor activities for the early morning.

  • Fall (September – November):

Where do I find check-in/out times?

This will be listed in your confirmation email. Check-in for RV Sites is 2PM and check-in for Cabins is 4PM. Checkout times for both is 11AM.

Yes—Buckeye Ranch RV Resort is pet-friendly. Guests traveling with dogs can enjoy our fenced dog park, walking paths, pup cup socials and other dog-friendly events, plus 75’ K9 Corner pull-thru sites that include a welcome dog bag with a water bottle, waste bags, dog treats, and a Frisbee at check-in.

No—full-hookup RV sites and cabins only.
